Customer Insight Manager

The Customer Insight Manager will be responsible for gathering, analysing and communicating insight that understands the needs of intermediaries, customers, and target audiences to enable development of relevant product, service and marketing propositions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive the delivery of insight based on an in-depth understanding of customers & intermediaries and ensure products & propositions are developed in line with these needs.
  • Create a culture of knowledge based decision making through driving the use of insight across the business
  • Understand strategic marketing challenges and develop appropriate research plans
  • Leverage a wide variety of market research tools and methodologies, selecting the most appropriate for each project
  • Review competitor and market activity to ensure propositions remain relevant, differentiated and ahead of the competition.
  • Work collaboratively with other business functions to bring together insights from multiple sources to deliver a joined up approach
  • Work with the product teams to continually improve existing products and identify opportunities for new product development
  • Develop and manage project schedules and budgets
  • Keep up to date with industry best practice and utilise this knowledge to build and drive the team
  • Manage vendor relationships, developing strategic partnerships that maximise value to the business

What you will need:

  • Experience of working in a customer driven environment
  • Substantial commercial experience within the market research, insight and propositions industry
  • Practical market research experience with a wide array of new product, brand and customer satisfaction research methodologies
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to piece together information from multiple sources to see the bigger picture
  • Strong leadership skills and a proven track record in developing high performing teams, growing talent and capability
  • Experience presenting to and influencing the business including senior leaders
  • Experience in developing value adding relationships with external vendors
  • Strong planning and time management skills

Location: Brighton, East Sussex

Salary: Salary up to £41,000
