Digital Marketing Officer

We are working with a large UK employer, with offices around the UK. As specialists in their field, their Communications Department is a key function with the company. The newly created Digital team is now looking for a skilled digital marketer to join them and manage the websites, eCRM campaigns, content and moderations of Social Media, Mobile apps, SEO and analytics Reporting into the Digital Manager, you will also work with other internals departments and manage external agencies.

The role includes:

  • Developing and implementing the strategy for the company’s website and other digital communications channels to maximise engagement
  • Working with internal departments across the business to understand requirements and recommend strategies for communicating with target audiences online
  • Managing the development and operations of the website and other digital services, including:
  • Delivering and communicating best practice for creating effective digital content
  • Developing and maintaining web content and ensure online content is up to date and accurate
  • Reviewing and optimisation, defining requirements for new functionality and enhancements to the website and other digital services
  • Leading the digital development programme to deliver new functionality and enhancements, working with business analysts, service delivery and project managers
  • Providing analysis and monitoring of digital activity

You will have:

  • Proven success in a similar role
  • A passion for all things digital and be able to share latest trends and best practise
  • Excellent editorial skills with a sound understanding of writing for the web and engaging online audiences
  • Experience of managing websites, including site structures and architecture
  • Knowledge of digital trends and social media
  • Knowledge of a wide range of applications and software including social media platforms, content management systems, image-editing software, MS Windows
  • Knowledge of search engine optimisation and functionality
  • Excellent time management and project co-ordination
  • Strong technical ability
  • Familiar with WordPress and/or other Content Management Systems.

Occasional travel to other regional offices may be required once a month or so.

Location: Horley, nr Gatwick

Salary: up to £37,000
