Digital Marketing Manager

This is a broad strategic B2B role, with a strong digital focus. You will be responsible for driving direct leads through both inbound and outbound channels using a variety of strategies and tactics from content marketing to data profiling and email marketing.

Key responsibilities:

  • To define and deliver the marketing strategy for the company and to meet lead generation and revenue targets
  • Management of all areas of the digital marketing mix
  • Work closely with the Sales Support Team leader to help support the outbound channel
  • Manage and mentor a Senior Digital Marketing Executive
  • Increase new customer acquisition through direct channels using a fully integrated approach
  • Oversee all internal and external brand communications
  • Manage and optimise websites
  • Maintain and improve search positions for core product and brand keywords
  • Data profiling and analysis
  • Oversee the production and dissemination of high value content as part of a structured content marketing strategy
  • Use marketing automation to nurture prospects through the buying cycle
  • System Ownership of the CRM platform
  • Management of agency relationships
  • Manage selection, procurement, customisation and user access of digital platforms/technologies
  • Ensure all marketing activity trackable and measurable
  • Provide relevant MI reporting, including marketing ROI
  • Manage marketing budget

What you will need:

  • Proven track record of delivering excellent results through marketing channels within the B2B arena
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills
  • Marketing Degree and/or Digital marketing qualification (IDM or CIM)
  • Minimum 5 years digital marketing experience
  • Experience of working with a telesmarketing/outbound lead generation function an advantage
  • Proven knowledge of campaign management principles from planning through to reporting
  • Agency/supplier management
  • MI reporting
  • Line/team management experience
  • Budget management experience
  • Experience of using research, data profiling and analytics to gain actionable insights
