Marketing and PR Coordinator

9 month Maternity Contract

Salary up to £25,000

Brighton, East Sussex

This is a fantastic opportunity for a marketer with at least 2 years experience in the sector. You will be responsible for building brand awareness for the company and communicating key messages via the press and media. The Co-ordinator’s role includes creating briefs, writing copy for targeted media campaigns and liaising with key media contacts to drive press activity.

Overview of key responsibilities:

  • Create and co-ordinate PR & Marketing collateral for both digital and traditional campaigns, including press engagement plan, EDM, newsletter & social media programme
  • Create and co-ordinate internal communications to engage employees with company news and initiatives
  • Website content maintenance including up to date pictures, copy, announcements, press releases
  • Co-ordinate press and media plans to promote marketing events, new product launches, existing product line and integrations
  • Maintain and develop positive day to day relationships with editorial and advertising contacts
  • Maintain and grow customer mailing lists and media contacts database Represent the Marketing Communications team and promote the brand at company events and awards ceremonies

What you will need:

  • Previous experience of working in a Marketing / PR role
  • Excellent content and copywriting experience
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Be highly creative and imaginative
  • Ability to stick to tight deadlines
  • Have a positive outlook and exhibit grace under pressure

Based in Brighton the company offers a positive work environment. This is a 9 month contract however for the right person this has the potential to move to other opportunities in marketing.
