Hybrid 2 days North Sussex / 3 days WFH

£55,000 - £60,000

Talent Hub is working with an established business, UK wide with huge customer base and locations throughout Europe. Their large marketing team has a vacancy (due to internal promotion) in the Commercial team for an experienced Product Manager, that will also be responsible for managing the small commercial and analysis teams.

The purpose of this role is to optimise the commercial opportunities for new product developments. This is senior and strategic role within the marketing team.

Responsibilities of Commercia Product Manager job include:

  • Supporting the acquisition of new properties / locations by providing commercial input and estimates towards creation of capital investment financial appraisals.

  • Managing the Commercial Analysis team and the Commercial Product team, ensuring high quality performance, trend and forecast data is created.

  • Translating product development into impactful product briefs for the wider business

  • Develop and distribute annual sales and promotion briefs to marketing to help shape effective marketing campaigns.

  • Influencing pricing, promotion, distribution and revenue management strategies for core products. This includes supporting other teams and within the wider Commercial department.

For this Commercial Product Manager job, you must have:

  • Previous Commercial Product Development or Product Management experience, ideally from within the travel, tour operation, vacation rental or hospitality industries.

  • An excellent manager of people who provides clear guidance, shapes and improves processes, works with confidence and collaborates well with others.

  • Excellent analytical and reporting abilities. Ability to provide high quality numerical and non-numerical analysis, insights and recommendations to support all commercial tasks and business cases.

  • Strong understanding of the commercial / financial modelling process and ability to execute the modelling of commercial scenarios using technical tools and associated skills.

  • Fully P&L literate - demonstrating a strong understanding of the financial levers available to positively influence bottom line profitability (surplus)

  • Experience of pricing and promotions and revenue management

  • Excellent Excel skills are required; comfortable using large data sets

  • A good level of experience in using BI reporting tools such as Tableau would be ideal
