Digital & Ecommerce Director

Brighton / Hybrid

£65,000 - £80,000

Talent Hub is working with an established retail business, both on the high street and online. They are looking for a skilled, senior Digital and Ecommerce Director to manage the team and take the online and digital offer to the next level. They need someone with extensive experience in ecommerce for a large consumer goods website, as well at being ahead of the curve on digital trends regarding SEO and paid media. They also need someone who can hold their own at the board table, delivering strategies and reporting digital marketing activities.

Responsibilities for the Digital & Ecommerce Director job include:

  • Develop and implement the strategy, plan and objectives for the ecommerce website

  • Manage the marketing team of content creators, designers and marketeers

  • Drive the ecommerce sales performance, increase CRO and UX

  • Create the Paid Media strategy and manage the agency to ensure they deliver on KPI’s

  • Develop the SEO strategy and implement tactical, content and technical plans to increase organic SEO

  • Improve the existing CRM program and increase retention and acquisition of customer data and loyalty. Produce regular email marketing campaigns.

  • Develop the Social Media presence, increasing brand awareness and facilitating social media and a tools to drive traffic and increase sales

For this Digital & Ecommerce Director job you should have:

  • Proven skills in managing a large ecommerce website with 10k+ products

  • Worked in a senior management position for at least 8 years

  • Successfully increased CRO by implementating improved UX

  • Proven success of managing and mentoring a team

  • Worked for a well know retail consumer brand

  • Have excellent knowledge of SEO best practise and the latest updates

  • Successful implemented and managed Paid Media campaigns with proven ROI
