Crawley / Mid Sussex

£30,000 - £35,000

Talent Hub is working with a renowned organisation in the UK travel sector, based in north mid Sussex. Their large marketing team is now looking for a skilled Events organiser who can manage exhibitions, shows and both indoor and outdoor events. Having contacts and relationships within the events industry and working with the wider marketing team to maximise opportunities and promote their products and services to customers and also raising brand awareness to gather new audiences.

The responsibilities for this events job include:

  • Develop, coordinate and manage their presence at shows, campaigns and events in accordance with their brand positioning and messaging within agreed deadlines and budgets.

  • Plan, deliver and manage their events and initiatives in support of Awards, Sponsorship and Charitable initiatives in liaison with internal stakeholders and external partners.

  • Work with existing and new partners to source and develop sponsorship opportunities at exhibitions and events.

  • Liaise with Marketing to ensure that all communications and messaging support the overall  brand and any specific campaigns

  • Liaising with HQ regarding staffing, including volunteers, collateral and promotional items, ensuring that logistical requirements, including hotels and travel arrangements are planned and accounted for well in advance of shows.

  • Coordinate post event customer feedback and ensure that actions are taken accordingly.

For this job you must have:

  • Proven experience in organising exhibitions, in a customer-centric commercial environment

  • Proven ability and confidence to deliver outstanding events on time and within budget

  • Exposure and understanding of contract management

  • Comfortable working as part of a team as well as on their own initiative

  • Able to manage multiple work streams and prioritise effectively to ensure deadlines are met

  • Ability to create strong relationships with external business partners and suppliers.

  • Extensive travel throughout the UK is required, including weekends and therefore full driving licence essential
