Ecommerce Manager (FMCG)

Talent Hub is working with a company in the consumer products sector. They sell their specialist FMCG product through retailers, affiliates and several different online ecommerce websites and channels.  This role will be responsible for managing these websites, looking after ecommerce, digital marketing, SEO, PPC, email, online promotions and affiliates (including Amazon Market Place). Also, analysis and reporting on channel and sales performance.

  • Develop and implement the products and manage profitable offers, online exclusives, bundles and campaigns for the online channels

  • Manage the Ecommerce Executive to ensure site content is updated including product description, images, social and blog

  • Plan, build and deliver commercial email marketing programme to drive sales

  • Work with brand managers to plan and deliver newsletter/editorial style email programme to engage with consumers

  • Oversee the running of PPC activity across text ads, shopping and remarketing – implemented by Ecommerce Executive

  • Oversee the technical/SEO aspects of the websites – delivered by Ecommerce Executive

  • Develop opportunities in the Affiliate channel and manage all aspects of the programme

  • Regularly carry out UX and commercial reviews and recommend improvements

  • Manage the company’s product portfolio and stock inventory for Amazon market place account

  • Propose and implement promotional opportunities on Amazon marketplace

  • Provide weekly updates and forecast month end results and provide monthly performance reports for B2C channels

For this Ecommerce Manager job, you must have:

  • Worked as an Ecommerce Manager, on a consumer product for at least 3 years. Ideally FMCG.

  • Proven skill in developing and delivering digital marketing strategies, campaigns and successful ecommerce platforms

  • Be educated to degree level in either marketing, business or equivalent

  • Thorough understanding of PPC and SEO best practice

  • Proven skills in people management (this role manages 1 person)
