Market Researcher & Marketing Planner

4-6 weeks contract

West Sussex

£200 per day

This is an exciting one-off project, to undertake a research and gather insights regarding health and wellbeing. My client is looking for an experienced market researcher who can go out and gather information, through focus groups, 1-2-1’s and also from other service providers and businesses, through the West Sussex area.

Using analytical tools identify what their target audience need and want, and also to develop a marketing plan to promote them using a variety of communication and engagement methods. 

Responsibilities for this research and marketing position include:

  • Collaborate with the wider team to uncover insights and strategies to develop and implement marketing and branding strategies for new and existing products / services

  • Conduct research and analyse data to identify the gaps in current provision and define the demographics of target audiences to address the gaps for specific target markets

  • Manage conception, development, and implementation of an innovative marketing plan, strategies and promotional programs to drive interest and engagement with them.

  • Produce a Marketing Plan to include a strategy to include social media, promotional activities and events 

  • Ensuring that marketing goals are communicated to the wider team for implementation.

For this contract job you must have:

  • Proven skills in conducting market research, both qual and quant. Primary research, focus group and data analysis and insight from existing data.

  • Successfully creating a marketing plan on how to improve on comms and increase both awareness and engagement of a product or service.

  • Be able to work autonomously and on you own initiative

  • Be educated to Degree level in business, marketing or a relevant field

  • Have a thorough understanding of Digital marketing channels, social media etc.

  • Good organisation and planning skills

  • Creativity and writing skills

  • Commercial awareness
